Buck’s world is thrown into confusion when he apparently sees Jennifer, his old girlfriend from the Twentieth century. He attempts to follows the young woman, but she manages to continually evade his pursuit. Buck finally tracks ‘Jennifer’ down at the resort town of City-on-the-Sea, where he learns that she is really Leila Markeson, a woman altered to look like his former lover by Commander Reev of the Koven race. Taken prisoner by Reev, Buck is instructed to destroy a freighter carrying weapons and supplies to the Vegans, enemies of Reev’s warrior race. However, Leila has now fallen in love with Buck; she frees the astronaut and together they set out to stop Reev’s plans…
